American actor Alexandra Hetherington Breckenridge. Her career began with support roles in the teen comedy films Big Fat Liar (2002) and She's the Man (2006). In the FX series Dirt she was Willa McPherson in the role of a reporter. She also appeared as the role of a support character on the short-lived show The Ex List. She starred as a young Moira O'Hara during the initial season of FX's American Horror Story, and played Kaylee in the third season. She played Jessie Anderson in the AMC series The Walking Dead and Sophie in the NBC series This Is Us. She is a voice actor in the show Family Guy, an animated comedy. She has been voiced by Melinda "Mel" Monroe on Netflix's Virgin River since 2019. Breckenridge was born in Darien in Connecticut. She moved to California with her mother at the age of 10. The family went through a few moves before eventually moving to Mill Valley. Breckenridge started to be attracted to acting, photography and singing when she was 13. Breckenridge moved to Los Angeles with her mother when she was 15 to pursue her acting career.
